You have been assigned a 15 year-old female patient who is a frequent marijuana smoker.

You need to research how smoking marijuana affects the human body to be able to answer the following questions:

• What is marijuana?
• How does smoking marijuana affect the respiratory system and its parts?
• How does smoking marijuana affect the nervous system and its parts?
• Overall, how does smoking marijuana affect the human body?

You need to complete a works cited guide listing the sources (books, Web sites, encyclopedias...) you used to find your information. You should also list any sources you obtained pictures or graphics from. This sheet needs to be turned in at the BEGINNING of Day 3.

Homework due before Rotation B:
Prepare a brief (up to 3 minutes) public service announcement to express your concerns about why young people need to be educated about the dangers of smoking marijuana. Your announcement should contain all the answers to the above questions. Make a prop/poster that will help you present your findings to the public.
