  • How does someone get HIV and AIDS?
  • Can HIV infection be prevented, and if so, how?
  • How does HIV affect white blood cells?
  • How can AIDS be treated?

Web Resources (Links)

You need to complete a works cited guide listing the sources (books, Web sites, encyclopedias...) you used to find your information. You should also list any sources you obtained pictures or graphics from. This sheet needs to be turned in at the BEGINNING of Day 3.

Homework due before Rotation B:
Prepare a brief (up to 3 minutes) public service announcement to explain why there should be more funding for HIV and AIDS research, treatment and education. Your announcement should contain all the answers to the above questions. Make a prop/poster that will help you present your findings to the public.
