You have been assigned a 15 year-old female patient who has been diagnosed with bulimia.

You need to research how bulimia affects the human body to be able to answer the following questions:

• What is bulimia?
• How does bulimia affect the mouth and its parts?
• How does bulimia affect the esophagus?
• How does bulimia affect the stomach and intestines?
• Overall, how does bulimia affect the digestive system?

You need to complete a works cited guide listing the sources (books, Web sites, encyclopedias...) you used to find your information. You should also list any sources you obtained pictures or graphics from. This sheet needs to be turned in at the BEGINNING of Day 3.

Homework due before Rotation B:
Prepare a brief (up to 3 minutes) public service announcement to express your concerns about why young people need to be educated about the dangers of bulimia. Your announcement should contain answers to all of the above questions. Make a prop/poster that will help you present your findings to the public.
